Every child deserves a chance…

 

· A chance to have his basic needs met

· A chance to grow up in an environment that supports her physical, mental, and spiritual development

· A chance to reach his or her full potential

· A chance to experience God’s love

 

Unfortunately, many children throughout the world do not get these chances.  Perhaps it is due to a lack of resources, a lack of financial means, or an unstable living environment.  Perhaps they come from a broken family, or have no family at all.

In keeping with our mission to make a positive difference in the world and to help children such as these, BLOOMING LIGHT DESIGNS has established “Project BLOOMING HOPE,” an outreach effort that supports those who work to foster the physical, mental, and spiritual development and well-being of disadvantaged children.

 

Through Project BLOOMING HOPE, we strive to:

· Help children/families in need

· Create an awareness of the issues children in need face, both at home and abroad

· Encourage YOU to make a difference by supporting Project BLOOMING HOPE and by fostering the physical, mental, and spiritual development and well-being of the children in YOUR life

Internationally

BLOOMING LIGHT DESIGNS is proud to be working on a special collection of jewelry, the “BLOOMING HOPE” collection, which will be available in early 2009.  All proceeds from this collection will be donated to the following organizations:

 

The Kujali Education Fund, Inc.

The mission of the Kujali (a Swahili word meaning “to care”) Education Fund is to improve the quality of life in Northern Tanzania for orphans and other vulnerable children through education, social support, and the development of income-generating activities.

 

Bridgeway Hope Academy

Located in Webuye, Kenya, and originally opened as a school to serve children whose parents had abandoned them or died from AIDS, the vision of Bridgeway Hope Academy is to bring all classes, cultures, and tribes together and create a diverse school that meets the needs of all children in the community.

In addition to the BLOOMING HOPE collection, a share of the proceeds from the semi-annual BLOOMING LIGHT DESIGNS studio open house are donated to these organizations as well.

 

Locally

BLOOMING LIGHT DESIGNS is available and willing to support local foundations and organizations who embody the vision of Project BLOOMING HOPE through participation in jewelry parties and charity fundraising events.

By hosting one of these events, your charity or organization will receive a share of the proceeds from all BLOOMING LIGHT DESIGNS sales during the event.  And, in addition to the financial benefits, hosting an event affords your organization the opportunity for increased publicity and awareness regarding your cause.
